2010 Performing Arts Camp is Coming!
Dreams, Myths, and Legends will be the
theme of FCC’s third annual summer
performing arts camp. Youngsters ages 6 to
14 will be divided into four groups and spend part of each day learning about drama, music,
art and dance. The camp
runs from 9 AM to Noon every weekday
from July 5 to July 16, 2010. A public
performance will be presented at the end of
the two-week camp.
This year’s instructors feature Irving music teacher, Crystal Waltz; North Star art designer, Pat Morland; youth theatre director, Greg Holt; and award-winning dancers Megan Patee (Cedar Falls High School) and Allie Holton (West High).
The cost is $25 and includes all classes, materials and daily snacks. Siblings and friends may sign up at the same time for at a discounted rate of only $10! The camp is held at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 608 W. 4th St., Waterloo. Scholarships are available based on need.
